Introduction
Animated Gifs are popping up everywhere on the internet. The
popular website tumblr have animated gifs rolling by the seconds on their
social sharing network. Scrolling down as rain drops are images of arts, fashion,
and jewelries. Sometimes, nude men and nude woman, photos of the latest youngest
trends, and pets. People upload images, and animated gifs of everything that is
new, and in the now.
It is a good place for marketing new products. There, you
can introduce the world to your crafts. To stand out on tumblr you need to design
animated gifs. The animated gifs are motion images.
How to make Animated Gifs, using Sony Vegas and Adobe Photo Shop
Animated gifs are motion bitmap images, which you save has
gif files. The definition of Graphics Interchange Format; GIFs are image files
that compressed to reduces transferring time.
I use Sony Vegas to edit my video clips, and then Adobe
Photo Shop to generate animated gifs.
I find it easy working and editing video clips in Sony Vegas
software. It is best to organize videos; add text; and special video effects. This
software is good for beginners looking to doing professional video editing.
The way I made animated gif is by importing video layers
into Adobe Shop. You do so by going to file import video layers. If the Adobe
Photo Shop you are, using does not have extended plugging Quick Time version 7.1
or later, it will not work. The Quick Time Movie formats you can use to make
animated gifs are (MOV, AVI, MPG, and MPEG).
Nevertheless, if works,
you will see a box pops up saying Import Video Layers. Click the little boxes
said, “Limit To Every 2 Frames”, “and Make Frame Animation”. On the top, you
can either choose to, “Selected Range Only, or From Beginning to End. If you
are planning to edit, click the box “Selected Range Only.”
Next, go to Window, click “Animation,” you will see the
animated frames and layers on the left side and the Player on bottom pop up.
Play with it to make motions in your graphics. You can do slow motion, and
other things. However, if you already edited the video in Sony Vegas optimize
and save for the website. Go to File, click “Save for Web & Devices.” In
this interface, you can do additional settings. However, all you need to tick
are, “Transparency, Color 256, Dither 100%, Lossy set at “0,” click and tick GIF,
and then “Save.” Give the file a name, and click (Image Only) (*gif), and Save.
That is it! Review the animated gif you made in your browser.

internet. This recent phenomena is on the most popular social networking
website such as Tumblr, Pinterest, Facebook, Google, and Yahoo. The list goes
on.
